The US Commerce Department reported new single family homes sales fell in February for the third consecutive month. New home supply is a heavy 8.1 month's supply at the present pace, the highest since January 1991.

International Paper has completed the sale of 13 lumber mills to West Fraser Timber for approximately US$325 million. The sale was first announced in November 2006.

Prices are strong for all sorts.
