Upon completion the home is tested to confirm that it meets R-2000 guideline after which it can be certified as an R-2000 home.
*A note about R-2000 home. Only licensed builders can build and register an R-2000 home. They must be trained in R-2000 technology and take courses to update their knowledge of the standard. The Canadian Home Builders Association in your area can provide information on locating a licensed R-2000 home builder.
